Day 7 - wet carpet

~ SUNNY BUT STILL COLD ~

Slept in later today, no work on Saturday...did something horrible... think I flooded the basement! well not flooded exactly...but the carpet area outside my bathroom is soaked! grabbed as many towels from the laundry room as I could find to soak up the water but the carpet is still really wet! it's gone all the way to my room too! Wonder where all the water came from? Did I do something?? Could have been the toilet but the bathroom floor is dry! What if Sandi and Dave come down and see the mess? Would they think that I did it?

Took a nice walk along the elbow river...it's just across the street from the house... think I should take up joggin... i'm so out of shape... absolutely no endurance whatsoever! or at least walk...brought my sketch book with me but couldn't find anything to sketch... not big on sketching... use to be... think i want to get out of architecture... wow, don't know where that came from... i have too much time here to think... i guess i'm not motivated to do anything in architecture... whole point of this internship was to see if I could use what I know in architecture to serve God... cuz if I can't, then there's no point... guess I haven't seen what I could do yet... just have to wait and see what i feel after I've gone to trinidad and after this internship is over...

called home today, mom & dad are at a banquet...talked to Olvie instead...I worry about her sometimes... will keep prayin for her... mom called me back later... told me uncle peter and auntie ada are coming to calgary on monday... wonder if I'll be able to meet up with them...
