Day 90 - la la la

Wow! I've been in Calgary for 90 days now...it doesn't seem that long.

Work these days is getting a little frustrating. We heard from the Trinidad ministry that they just need to get through one more approval process and if all goes well, then we can continue with the project. Which is awesome news but they want us to refine the plans we gave them so they could present to the city. This intellicad program that I'm using to draft this plan is not as good as autocad. I can't get it to do what I need it to do. It's taking me so much longer. If I had autocad, I would have finished this thing last week. And also, no one seems to have any due dates. I can't work like this! I need deadlines! Without deadlines, I don't know how to pace myself. I've realized that I only work well under pressure. It gives me that rush and motivation to work fast and work well. I'm too laid back here, no one is pushing me to finish stuff, I'm working so slow....

Of course I can give myself a deadline but in the back of my mind, I know that if I finish my work now, I'm not going to have anything to do for the rest of my time here. Sigh. I hope this doesn't ruin my mindset for going back to school.
