Day 15 - BBQ

went to sccefc again... i'm starting to get to know the people at this church so I think I'll keep attending... still pretty sick... finally met the infamous Diana Gee from Edmonton... the girl who recruited all the past Canadian interns except for me! Steve was always talking about her.

A girl from the church invited me to her house for a bbq today ... it was all her girlfriends from church and other churches... I had a great time fellowshipping with these girls... they've all graduated and are all working but still pretty young. It was a change for me, hanging out with people older than me who are done school and at the next stage in life, which I guess I'm reaching soon. I have such a great deal to learn from these women. They're so independent, living on their own and taking charge of their lives while living for God. It's weird, here in calgary I'm finally in a place where I no longer have to be in charge or am the older one in control, which is SO nice! But at the same time, I'm feel like a little child who needs to depend on people...which is scary...

Lord, you've totally pulled me out of my comfort zone to be where I've always wanted to be but never had the opportunity or had the courage to step out onto...you've given me a chance to finally grow...so i thank you..but please give me strength and courage to keep going!
