Day 26 - Banff

~ the most beautiful day in alberta so far! ~

Started the day late...why can't i wake up on time? Got into work and checked my email as usual...Dot wrote me an email saying she's taking her aunt to Drumheller today and wanted to know if i want to go...of course!! but I better ask steve first! But then Dot calls the office and says she's going to Banff instead! That's even better!! Steve came in and said I could have the day off to go, he's so awesome! so lenient! So after a few errands, we were off to Banff, Dot, Auntie Rebecca and I! it was such a clear warm day, took so many pictures along the way as we got closer and closer to the mountains...on a clear day, you can see the mountains from the city...it was such an awesome sight! We didn't go hiking in the mountains, just walked around the town of Banff, ate at a Japanese restaurant and did some shopping...bought a "mad cow" for Olvie..or maybe Candy..i dunno, we'll see...i might wanna keep it myself..it's such a funny gift! The town was surrounded by mountains on all sides, what a majestic sight...God's creations are just so beautiful, so grand and breath taking! I can't wait to actually walk up there but that will have to be another day. It was so much fun hanging out w/ Dot and her aunt, I feel so blessed to have Dot take care of me and bring me places!

After Banff, I went to Dot's house for dinner and to watch the hockey game..dinner was bbq pork, soya chicken, steam veggies and rice, it was so good! your typical, simple quick chinese meal but it tasted so good cuz I hadn't eaten chinese food in so long! plus she had coke! it was the happiest meal I've had in a while!

The Flames game was so intense! Game 5!! They won 3-2 in OT and lead the series 3-2, Game 6 is here in Calgary, I can't wait! I would love to be around 17th Ave or the "Red Mile" to be near all the excitement, especially if the Flames win cuz it means they'll will the cup! GO FLAMES GO!
