Day 93 - question of the year

"When you see God in heaven, what will you tell him?" was the question I was asked tonight. I took a step back. What would I tell him?? I know what I would ask him but I don't know what I would tell him. I've never thought of that before. "Could you be more specific? Do you mean what I would tell him about my life or things I've learned?" "Whatever. If you were to see God, what would you tell him?"

I was really taken back by this question but also very intrigued. That is a very good question, what would I tell God? Hmm. At first nothing came to mind, I thought, why would I need to tell God anything? God knows everything about me already! Then it hit me, I had an answer! but I felt uneasy about it especially when my questioner told me that some people have greatly grieved him with their answers. I dauntingly fumbled the words out of my mouth. My questioner smiled. "That's not a bad answer."

Phew.

All night I couldn't stop thinking about this question. It was such a good question!! And the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to know what other people have to say. So now, I'm going to ask everyone I know this question!!

I've been asking around and I've been given some amazing answers to this question. Here are some of them:

"Thanks for saving me!"
"I love you Lord, THANK YOU!"
"I would thank God for Jesus Christ"
"I would just tell God over and over again, how much I love him!"
"I would tell God what an awesome job he did creating the universe and all that's in it!"

This is what the angels told God:
"Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang:
"Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"
Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing:
"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!"
