Day 27 - sleep over

~ NICE & HOT! ~

Steve came to pick me up for work today..so naturally we didn't get in until 10...Steve gave me a design project to work on..a prayer chapel in Haiti...interesting project...gives me some practice design before I go to Trinidad...Dot confirmed for me that mom's friend is getting married tomorrow...guess i better go buy a skirt...went to Winner's and bought a skirt w/ matching sandals...after that I went to Julie's house. Dot is dog-sitting for Julie so she asked me to sleep over...Janice also came so we went to take Julie's dog (Sam) for a walk...we went to this beautiful park 20mins away called Confederation Park...one thing that I've really liked about calgary is their ability to maintain their green space...there are so many large parks around with rivers and ponds running through them and large trees everywhere!

At the park, Janice went for a run while Dot and I slowly walked Sam along the park path... he went into the river for a swim too! After the park, we went back to Julie's house for dinner...Dot had marinated some pork chops & steaks so we had a bbq on Julie's grill...the food was soooo good!! After dinner, we jammed on Julie's instruments, and rummaged thru her cds and books! haha! it was so much fun! After watching "Girl Fight", it was 4:40AM...already bright outside...birds are chirping...guess i should try to get some sleep, got a wedding to attend in a few hours...I love Julie's couch! it's so comfortable!
