Day 28 - the wedding

~ HOT! THUNDERSHOWERS IN THE AFTERNOON ~

Woke up at around 8:30am...weird since I slept at 4:30am, only 4 hours of sleep but i was wide awake...the couch was really comfy but it made me really hot! Dot also woke up at 8:30 but she went back to bed while I read Julie's 'Alias' book...at around 10, we went to help Dot's friend move out of her apartment...she already had 2 friends helping her...they were all in movie set production...made me really miss the whole theatre set design dream...i often wonder what my life would be like if i accepted theatre production instead of architecture at ryerson... i'd probably have a lot more fun in theatre... but back to reality... then we went to chinatown for dim sum at "U & Me Restaurant" and then a walk along the bow river where we saw gophers everywhere!

Dot drove me back to Sandi's where I got ready for the wedding...the church was decorated really nice and altho i didn't know a single person, it was nice being there...I had to wait till all the groom & bride's family and friends had taken their pictures before i could approach the groom to let him know who i was...i told him my parents sent me and he said I look just like my mom...figures...i even took a picture w/ them so i could show mom & dad... after the wedding, i took the c-train up to the NW where Dot was having a bbq w/ her cell group...then we went to Luke's house to watch game 6...Flames lost 3-2 in OT..so we're on to Game 7 in Tampa Bay...

these past few days have been so crazy, so much fun! and I have God to thank cuz he blessed me with Dot who's been the kindest person to me and taking me everywhere and keeping my life in calgary from being boring!
